Didn't change the oil till 10K, now the MAINT. RQD light's on

I've been lazy lately and I didn't change my oil till now for the first time...the car's got 10K miles on it.
Uhhmmm, well...here's the thing, my MIL was on b/4 since I had a Kami. header installed and I was ok with it since I knew it'd happen, but after a while also the MAINT RQD light turned on...I thought it was just the oil thing, but I changed it today and it's still on.
Could it be because I didn't change the oil till today? What the hell could be wrong with my car?

It drives fine and there are no engine noises whatsoever...Any thoughts on this?

By the way...I only have an Intake & Exhaust.

Maint rqd is nothing, it's just a reminder, just turn it off next time you get in yuor car

No it means your car is broken. Now the light will never turn off. Did you read the sticky yet?
