I think after alignment and everything, DIY install I ended up spending $600, if u go 2" U won't be able to use Tokicos and im pretty sure Konis are a considerable amount more, plus if ur paying for install it could reach up to $200, my Tokicos were $324, im reviews im seeing $400-$500 so ur prolly looking at 900ish w/o any camber kits

but if u DIY the install, only drop 1.5" or less and get Tokico blues, no camber kits, then u should be right around $600 depending on how much ur springs cost, if u can find springs for under $120or so then u'd prolly be that much under 600.

*just an estimate of course*

if your familar with suspension work, go for the DIY. it'd be even easier and less complicated if your doing it with a buddy that knows his ish too. if you have a shop professionally install springs, its gonna be a lot around the 200-400 era depending how they charge. some do by the hour, some get lazy, some just want money, and few are actually legit and do good work. unlike this shop i went to with a bunch of immigrants that arent certfied techs and u know i left like a bat from hell. if you have an 04 civic lx, u can still use aftermarket springs that are meant for "honda civic 01+" unless their made specifically for the EX models; cause you have an LX.

before you purchase anything, i would highly suggest you to read the suspension faq on this forum. their are A LOT of things to learn about before dropping a car.

tein s-tech springs go form $100-160 ish.

Springs don't vary between trims. You're better off just waiting for the Omni coilovers to come out, they'll be around $800. You'll also have the ability to adjust the height whenver you want.

You can probably do it, all you need is a jack and some basic tools. Dropzone springs are crap, Tein springs are much better.

I would go with the tein springs over the dropzone.

I would also suggest getting aftermarket shocks and doing them at the same time. Coilovers are easier and swap right in. I would suggest doing it yourself, if you fvck up then take it somewhere to get it fixed. Same amount of time, same price probably. This way you will learn about your car and know what to do when something goes wrong.

1) springs
2) shocks (konis, KYB AGX or Tokico D-spec if lower than 1.75)
3) camber kit
4) wait a week or so and get an alignment.

camber kits correct your tires..in case they point inward after the springs are installed.

I would suggest reading THIS carefully. You have to decide what you want and to review the parts you are interested in. There is no better or best, just whatever you find you want to put on your car.
