okay so the other day a cop pulled me over and gave me three tickets: unreasonable speeding, driving past 9, and not yeilding in an intersection..heres the link to the story..http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=188010

now i ask u..should i plead guilty or not guilty..im not guilty but its gunna be the cops werd over mine and i dunno if the judge can upgrade the charge since the cop said i was runnin away..he didnt arrest me..cuz i didnt run..but he said the judge can upgrade it..so should i just plead guilty and ask if he can lower it..or should i fightit..
ne1 no how much i will pay if i jusyt plead guilty..?

do they have cameras in the cop cars there? if so you should ask the judge to review the video. i say plea not guilty. you might want to find yourself a lawyer also. dont let them push you around. if you get a lawyer you might have to pay a little more, but pleading guilty is just letting the fvcker win. also, go to the station and write a formal complaint against the cop. take a parent with you, so then it will look like you mean business, not that you are just pissed about the ticket. and if possible, see if you can talk to the chief of police about the situation also. good luck

thank you, but he said if i plead guilty..he will tell the judge that i ran and then the judge will upgrade the charge to a jailsentencing? i dunno..
also, does the camera or video only go on when the cop puts his sirens on? cuz he followed me for 3 blocks without the sirens on or the headlights and when he put them on i pulled oveR? i heard video only shoots when sirens are on? is that true

edit..i dunno if the yonkers cops have video..

dont let him pressure you into pleading one way or the other. as far as cruiser video systems it varies. the ones i used could be turned on manually or when set to they would turn on when the emergency lights were activated. good luck.

no the camera should be on at all times if they have one, at least thats the way it is for my BF, hes a cop in vegas. i asked him and he said you should stand your ground about this. call his bluff, if he doesnt havew proof on you how is he going to prove to the judge you did it?? they can't legally charge you on hearsay (SP?) evidence. there HAS to be proof. i say fight him to the end, id gladdly spend a night in jail to prove to that fvck that i was not backing down to his BS...
