Cool How cam I reset my cluster?

I want to change my cluster becuase my car model is the dx but I got a lx cluster how can I reset my miles or put my miles in the new cluster. I am not trying to change the miles in my car I want the same mileage thats why I am asking the question?

Also I swap my cluster with my friend civic, he got a EX and I was displaying his miles not mines so the miles are not store in the ECU.

You can't. You have to have it re-flashed. Some speedo repair shops can do it for you, some dealers---- maybe.

not tampering if you set it to the correct mileage of that vehicle

what you can also do is you can go to the dealer and they will issue you a sticker that goes on your door jam that states how many miles your car has. Doesnt matter anyway, your ECU keeps record of how many miles you have.

not really, they put how many miles your car has on it and the date. So everytime you go somewhere, they just take the miles from your door jam sticker and add it to the miles on the odometer. And that is how many miles you had. The sticker also states that you had the gauge replaced.
