Enzo doors
^^ I believe it would.. although if someone had an LX, HX (without moonroof) and got the body work done, that would be tight as hell. Makes me want to go to my body shop guy and see how much he would charge to get a custom one made.. too bad I have an EX.
EDIT: Then again, I still have a lot to go before I even think about doing an exterior mod like that.. I think turbo would be more important ha

^^Yeah i'm sure it would which isn't a problem because i've got a VP(no moonroof). it would probably be insanely expensive, but I don't care I'm probably going to turn this thing into a show car anyway. I don't plan on boosting it, that's the only way to get decent gains out of it and the way I look at it, if you can't get 200hp out of the motor without spraying then what's the point.

Come to think of it, maybe I wouldn't have to cut the roof. If I wanted to mimic the look of the enzo doors then yes, but all I want to do is make the doors go up and pivot like the enzo's. As long as the window cleared the top of the windshield and roof then it should be all good.

it might seem like a cool idea at first, not really...but ill humor you. but if you think about the practical aspects of it, its really not a good idea at all, unless you dont plan on driving the car anywhere but to a show. the civic is a pretty tall car compared to an enzo, and it has much taller doors. if you park in any parking spot thats not a parallel spot, you will most likely not be able to get out of the car since you wont be able to open the door enough. there is not enough space between cars in pretty much all the parking spaces ive parked in.

Parking Spaces are 9' x 18'
you do the rest of the math.
except Handi Crap spaces they are 8.5' x 18' BUT they are required to have a "Van accessible" Space thing of 8' on at least on side of the parking space, and two HC spaces are allowed to share the same 8' space.

so what? whats your point? go park in a lot next to a car, and then try to open your door all the way. now imagine that you have to lift that same door from the bottom and it will have to have a full range of motion for you to get out. now imagine someone parking real close to you in the lot. good luck getting in or out.

I'm sorry if I offended you. Can I offer you a prozac?

Wait a minute, the doors can't be any taller than they are long. They shouldn't require anymore space than the door do opening normally. Or am I overlooking something. I'd go out and measure but i'm at work. Anybody got the measurements?

anyway I think as long as I can get the top of the door(the window) to stick out in front of the windsheild then there should be enough room for the door to open.
