How to change the lights on buzz sound
When you leave your lights on after turning off your car, there is this really annoying high pitched continuous Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep........
that reminds you, that you forgot to turn off your lights. Is there anyway to change that sound, I know like for example the Acura MDX has a more friendly "ding-dong" ring. Its just a simple annoyance, but if its possible to change, plz let me know. thanks!

I really wanna know. Even more annoying is the beeping when key is in ignition and door is open. I can make it stop by unplugging that little nipple, but then the alarm doesn't work if anyone were to open the driver door. There is no fuse specifically for that noise either.

get a short piece of garden hose, put one end up to your ear and and move the other around in the dash till you find whats making the sound.
Then RIP IT OUT!!!!!

that garden hose thing would work pretty nicely to find rattles and stuff. Find the beep, and unplug the speaker is what I would do. I still would like a noise to tell me headlights are on, even though I remember every time before that annoying noise.

I'm not retarded. I don't like having a noise to remind me that the lights are on when it's obvious by looking outside the car. It's for stupid people and even then they won't know what the noise is for.
ha yeah in JC Whitney, I believe they make different modules or something to replace your stock beeeeeeeeep.. (wow that has to be the most technical terminology I've used all night.) You can get them so they play songs. I don't know if that'd be more annoying or not though.
I imagine radio shack or some other supplier could provide a differnt buzzer that you could mount and solder to replace the existing buzzer. You could also get one from another car at the junkyard.
