some wierd noise and feeling
its been raining alot here and my car is feeling funny sometimes.
like its fine and dandy, then all of a sudden i hear my exhuast just get 100% more louder and deeper toned. and then one time i was downshifting (tranny stopping) into first and rev matched really nicely and all of a sudden its suppperrrr loud and shakes my car like crazy (shakes left and right, not front to back) also my tranny moves alot. like its how it should be but 100% stronger than it should. also its wierd like when i turn i can hear my exhaust scrape for some reason. it slike my exhaust in the mid pipe is not attached to the rubber bushings.... hmmm i will have to check it out tomorrow morning.
then when i got home and i turned my alarm on, my siren is like super quite. and i felt inside the siren and its pretty wet. is that gonna dry or what?
help, and thanks a bunch in advance

ps. here is a pic i drew for ya

I get this same problem but ONLY WHEN IT RAINS!!!
Do you have after market exhaust? If so which one? I have the Greddy cat back. There used to be sone info about a TSB for 2001 civics that made noise only when it rained. But my car is a 2002. So the dealer would not touch it. Plus I had aftermarked exhaust. When it stops raining i need to drive the car and get the exhaust hot, then park it and spray the exhaust with a hose right under the manual shifter while someone is raising the rpm's to 2000-3000. Maybe I can find the problem this way. What do you think?

from what i understand when i drive on the freeways the was and mist and moisture is getting into the exhaust sysytem(my thoughts are in my muffler) and its just that the water is blocking some of the exhaust gases to escape. its like having 3inch piping all the way then at the tip its like 1inch. so it bogs and sounds really wierd. i figured that problem out.
BUT no one has answered my problem about my alarm siren. will it dry out and work properly or is it going to be really quiet like it is now?

No, the siren will dry out. But if it gets soaked a few times, It WILL die. I suggest you put a thin plastic cling wrap over the horn when it's raining outside. Another fix is to mount the horn at an angle, so the water will just drain out of the center part of the horn.
Feel better now?

Who did your alarm install? It is a given assumption that every installer mounts the siren pointing DOWN so water doesnt get into it. To me, that's a DUH thing.. dumb @$$ installers I tell ya.
