please help, engine stall on automatic transmission

hi, i got a civic and the engine stalled yesterday.

I drove for about 20 meters, then stopped to open my garage door, two second after, I found there is no light on the panel, no mileage, noting, and the engine stopped, the key was at the ACC position
I then tried to start it again, the key can turn, but nothing happened.
tried again, still nothing
After that, I reinserted the key and everything is fine since then.

Anyone knows what causes the problem? The engine was not cold since I have used it 30 mins before.
I don't know much about car, hope something here could help
thanks a lot

darklegacy540 is on a distinguished road
On one of my old cars, this happened all the time.. now I don't know much about transmissions and their components and such, but the garage that I took it to said something about the torque converter solenoid.. I wasn't really paying attention and told them to fix whatever it was and then it worked great..

thanks for your replys. In the case of torque converter solenoid, how much do they charge you to replace for it? Thanks
