Hayame the only one?
Regarding true coilovers for non SIs, are Hayames the only ones that can be set at stock height?
According to the suspension FAQ they are the only ones.
All else start at a minimum of 1 inches.
Are there true coilovers that can set at stock height or lower the car less than 1 inch?

This isn't really an answer to your question, but might I ask why setting coilovers to exactly stock height is so imperative? Just curious really, I mean, I raised my Hayames up for winter not too long ago, but I didn't go all the way up - I left it at about 1" drop from stock anyway. Not trying to be an ***, just wondering.

^^^
My body kit already "lowers" my car a good 2-3 inches.
I'm not looking forward to slam my car because it is my daily driven (100+miles) vehicle and going in and out of driveways without worrying about scraping is a must.
I hate the soft ride on my car and all the bouncing I do on the freeway.
I just want to firm up my ride pretty good.
I know I can just buy a good set of shocks and stick with my stock springs.
But I would rather spend a bit more for height adjustability if I want it later down the road. Also for the benefits of having a true coilover system.
I should just save up for an air suspension huh?

Yeah I guess, but you should see what the bagged members think of the ride with those on. I'm not sure if you really get that much firmer on air suspension.

Air suspension is way too much for me lol.
Other than audio, 99% of my car consists of used parts =)
Trying to make a nice car on a budget.
I'll probably buy a set of used Hayames from a member here.
Some people have been saying that the ride is too stiff for them.
Well, thats just perfect for me.

kaligari* is selling hayames used for $350 shipped. but highly suggest you to check out the hayame thread where many ppl were discussing about the pros and cons of it. ppl had problems with the fitment, the lowering, man it was so much. spent hour and half reading the entire thread before i changed my mind about purchasing a set.
was the big deciding factor for you the ride quality?
I read that the steering wheel becomes Very sensitive. This true for all hayame owners??
I also read in some online shop that they are discontinued

The civic version will out in Jan.
"Our coilovers can be raised or lowered, up to 4”, from two separate positions which allows the user to raise or lower their vehicle without affecting spring preload or damper stroke length. "

"Second Generation Coilovers
The new version of Hayame coilovers for 01-up Civic and 02-up RSX received a slight design improvement, which may lead to some confusion during installation.
In order to improve the alignment and positioning of the tie-rod in relation to the coilover, we redesigned the coilover arm to accept the tie-rod on the under side rather than the top of the arm. In other words, the tie-rod should be rotated 180 degrees, and inserted through the bottom of the coilover arm. Installed this way, the taper will properly accept the tie-rod and there is no need to enlarge the hole.
You can download an installation note explaining this new feature: Honda_coil_install.pdf (34KB)

Please Note: We strongly recommend that you have The Hayame Coilovers professionally installed by reputable installation service centers specifically trained to install aftermarket coilover systems. Serious injury may occur if installation is not properly done. We are not responsible for any damage due to incorrect installation.
