Car started like **** today?
i have been driving my Maxima beater for a good 2 weeks now and my civic has just been sitting there in my driveway untouched for 2 weeks.
today i went out to start it up just to let it run a little and it staretd liek complete ****.
first it struggled to start a little bit... like gaa gaa gaa.... and it started up. the idle was rough after wards and jumped up and down a little bit causing the car to jerk.
can someone tell me what happened here? is it because its been sitting in one spot for a couple weeks?

Battery gets low after 2 weeks. Mine did the same when I let it sit up too long. I just plug a trickle charger in the battery now. No more problems. The electronics in the civic will drain the battery after a while. Then the ecu may loose it's idle setting when you first start it. It re-learns quickly, though. I have been driving my Nissan truck beater too.
So, yeah... it's just from sitting up. It won't hurt it, but keep a charger on the battery from time to time.
