Got tickets today
out of all the those, your probably going to have to pay for at least the speeding ticket. if you haven't gotten a ticket in a while, just pay for it and go to traffic school. otherwise... if you fight it and lose, you can't go and are screwed.

For the aftermarket parts (tint, tails, ride height, and exhaust) if they aren't stamped, or you have a certificate which should come with them if they are legal, then you're screwed. I never knew there was a minimum ride height, and checking local state laws here, there are no standards for this. The tails need to be approved 50 state DOT SAE compliant in order to get out of that. Don't know what the tint laws are there, here they recently got rid of them, so you can go as dark as you want. Depending on your state regulations on that, and how dark yours are, you may or may not can get out of that. As for the exhaust, if it's not carb legal and compliant with local laws, you're screwed on that as well. Speeding, did you request a calibration at the time? Did you ask for a calibration report? They have to calibrate them if you request it, as well as having to provide a calibration report. That's about your only defense on that. If he marked down being a nice cop, I wouldn't worry with fighting it, cause he did you a favor anyway. Depending on what you have, and what was done on site, you might consider pleading guilty on all or some of them, and going to driving schoolm and getting the points reduced on your record.

eughh i got a ticket before for how low my car was...i fought it cuz i never heard of such a thing, plus i had people in my car and he didnt make us get out. When i did all of my search, i think it has to be at least 16" high and no more than 20" measuring from the rear bumper. I got away wit it, because he measured 13 n half and i got 18 n half, soo...plus after leavin court, the cop told me that there werent any hard feelings, he just pulled me over because it was the car show weekend...

meh..I saw a guy in Toronto after the first day of the Darknights Nationals get something like $1000 in tickets. He came back the next day and put them all on display across his windshield..lol
In Toronto they WILL bust you for ride height and they WILL perform roadside emissions tests on your car. I saw them trying to tow a slammed 96 2dr Legend...with a HOOK truck! Bastards.

Go to the engineering services in your town, and ask for the speed survey (could be called average traffic speed survey etc) and verify that the posted speed limit was rounded up to the nearest 5mph from the 85th percentile of the average speed of traffic. Say the survey says that the average speed of traffic is 36mph, the only LEGAL speed limit is 40mph. It states this in the MUTCD. (manual for uniform traffic control devices) and it is federal law. IF you can prove that there was no speed survey done or the speed limit was improperly posted then you can pretty much get off that scott free.

BS, talk to a judge that tries speeding cases and you'll realize that this argument won't hold

wrong, also officers do not need to show you the radar, or a "calibration report". there is no way to show someone road side the calibration. it is done prior to shift, and after a summons is written to verify the accuracy if needed in court.
kyle you are absolutely correct.
if you get caught speeding, your best bet (if you plan on fighting it) is to never admit you were speeding. Once you admit that you did anything against the law, your court case is gone (dont waste ur money).
If you get pulled over and the cop says "Do you know how fast you were going?", just say "the speed limit officer". Be nice, but do not admit you were at fault. Even if you say "well I was only goign 5 over", you're screwed, you were speeding.

47 in a 35 is just plain stupid anyway, around here a cop wont even give ya a second look unless your doing 15 over. That is unless you have a fixed up car which is probably the reason you were pulled over in the first place.
see thats my point. I got pulled over once for like 12 over and it was the only time i was ever let go with a warning, the rest of the time i got pulled over for 15 or over and i got a ticket every time. A ticket wont even go on my insurance unless it is 15 over. And the cops around here know that, so pulling over someone for 10 over is stupid because it's not enough of a fine to get them to stop.
Sppeding you will have to fight that. Too Low, shouldn't be on the same ticket, but you could fight that as well, what is too Low, I suppose if your car is dragging on the ground that is too low. the windows tint is a fix it ticket, separate from speeding ticket, you can check the laws on window tint in your state Highway patrol's web site, or state DMV Site. what's wrong with your tail lights? don't work, Altezzas or similar shouldn't be a problem, unless they're broken.
