Bumper not flush with fenders
Bumper not flush with fenders
i just reinstalled my oem front bumper this weekend after blacking out my headlights and i cannot get it to sit flush with the fenders. it sags about 1/4" below the flush point. i just ahve those black snap plug things holding it and the screwes that hold it to the fender. i do not have any more of the snap things that attach to the bumper anymore cause i lost them. is that the problem? and if so, how much would that cost to repair if i took the car to honda to get fixed?
side not, anyone know what the stock warrenty is, 30k or 33k miles? i might need to head in to get some things fixed before i run out of time.

those clips are NOT cheat.. $4.80 EACH
i broke every one cept for the 4 that were on top of the grille... gutta remember.. "pry... dont twist".. woops..
anyway they are way cheaper through hondaautomotiveparts.com
put as many cllips as you can on the top part (over yer grille) and use zip ties for the rest of it.. the brush gaurd thing will make some serious noise if yer doin 80 down the highway with its only attached in one or two places..
as far as yer bumper being off.. sound like you are clicking it in under the slots on the fender.. try remounting it again.. i screwed it up the first time i took mine off

You need to align the tabs on the bumper with those directly under each headlight. It's hard to get them all in, but that would explain why it sags. Mine does a bit too. Just take off the bumper and look right under the headlight. Everything has to line up.
