i got a ticket for "altering" a parking permit. Anyways, yea, i deserve the ticket i guess, however, i was just wondering. On the ticket, they spelled the name of the road i was parked on wrong. The permit i had was for murray road. And on the ticket it says mVrray road. So, my question is, can i get out of the ticket if i show up to the court date and say i was never parked on that street? Because That street doesn't even exist....? I know some people got out of tickets because the date was wrong on the ticket.
its for 50 bux and i really don't have 50 bux to waste. I'll pay it if i have to , but i was just wondering if i could win this if i showed up? If not, ill just pay it, thanks

i also have one unpaid ticket for 25 bux, will they bring that up? AND how long does it take when u go to argue ur tickets? and is it very nonformal?

v and u look very much alike. in the ancient times, they didn't have the letter u, only a v for both characters.

anyway, you won't be able to get out for something like that. my u's and v's tend to look a lot alike soemtimes. the process is non-formal, but you'll probably lose, so you might as well just pay it.

we're not talking about ancient times! it was typed mvrray, not written. so its not like its a U but looks like a V! won't it be illegal for them to make me pay a ticket for parking on a street that doesn't even exist?

its just a parking ticket so feel free to let it go unpaid.. nothing will ever become of it.. EXCEPT when its time to renew yer licenece.. then theres a good chance you will have to pay the tickets plus all sorts of fines..

i had 3 unpaid tickets that i got on a bike (yeah.. bike.. streams, bell, bannana seat.. all that stuff) from when i lived in jersey.. it cost me almost $900 to get my licence back...

lol, i was going to do that, but it doubles if i dont pay it, plus i already have one unpaid for 25 bux which is 50 now i guess. I dont want the cops to get anymore of my money. Its so gay, you get 25 dollar fine if u dont have a permit at all, and a 50 dollar fine if ur permit is altered. its one of those permits where u write ur license number and time and date ur parking there. It says if i get ten outstanding tickets or unpaid amount of 50 dollars or more ill get my car impounded. Do they really impound ur car for 50 dollars worth of unpaid tickets?

they might.. parking cops are the biggest tax waste in the world.. so they gutta justify their existance by bringin in lots of money
