new Boosted times with SF kit

okay I went to the track on sunday and made a few passes (I still cant launch for shitt)....any I ran 14.8@98.94mph with 2.576 60'
yeah I know I know...my launching sucks but I was happy with the mph and kinda happy with time b/c its best for me for NOW....btw, I was running 8psi on stock tires with full interior with alcohol injection....I kept bogging off the line and didnt realize what I was doing wrong till later on when I went to work...I NEVER spun the tires (even chirped) on any of my launches and I was launching at 2500-3000rpms so next time I'm looking to launch at 3500-4000rpms....I was hoping to hit the 100mph mark but fell just short...I think with a 2.0' or 2.1 60' on stock tires, I'm good for LOW 14's on stock tires and 8psi...I'm switching to methanol next time and installing my energy suspension motor mount inserts and staying on 8psi for now...oh yeah I'm still not tuned but I know i'm running rich b/c we put my car on a wideband...I need to get tuned soon so I can up the boost here...okay just wanted to share

oh yeah when I lined up, I lined up against a 5.0 and I was thinking "aww shitt, I'm about to NOT hear my engine rev and get SMOKED" well he ran a 14.5 to my 14.8 and he had a 2.0 60' to my 2.5 60' and he trapped 95mph to my 98.94mph....next time 5.0 I'm gonna buss that ***

well atleast you know with that trap speed you are in the low 14's which is great for a civic.. just get some new tires so you can launch that thing

That's sweetness. It will be so satisfying to roast 5.0s. Get better tires, perfect the launch, and consider jacking up the *** end with rubber coil spring boosters - they reduce weight transfer. If you have adjustable shocks - stiffen them up too.

Good **** jet! get some drag radials and practice your launch and you could maybe hit 13's. I'm trying to get a few people to go to hallsville this weekend for some safe legal racing. I think I might run my stock 14" steelies with low psi and see what happens.
Let me know if you wanna roll out there.

if I do, I can only go on Sundays b/c I work 3pm-11pm so I'll get there around noon and leave by 2pm at the latest...but yea I need to launch higher and see what kind of times I get then up boost and get DR's and go from there...I had the stock tires on 20psi and the back on like 35-40psi and had the front koni's stiffness all the way down (no stiffness)

8psi for now, maybe 10psi.....MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE 11psi in the near future...we'll see...I'm working with 8psi for now though...thanx again man
