slight hesitation at 50

slight hesitation at 50
k i've noticed this before but it doesn't always do this but when accelerating in third gear at a medium pace when i hit fifty i get a slight hesitation in the engine. it doesn't always do that and i was wonderin what that was. if anyone could tell me i'd appreciate it. oh and i'm at 35,700 miles and i just got it completely checked at 35,000 miles. they said nothing was wrong so....
