I'm always hearing about the double wishbone situation with the 7th gens, and i was wondering, how much better does a comparably equipped 6th gen handle than a 7th? (for argument's sake, say a stock EX coupe vs. another stock Ex coupe).

Depends on tuning... But Suspensin Vs Suspension a Unequal length double wishbone suspension is a more Favorable suspension for handling. Simply because it does one major thing that Strut type suspensions dont... and that is Camber gain! BUt all in all, you can tune a strut type suspension to perform just as well, it just takes some tweaking. if given a choice though, I'd rather have the Double wishbone.
hand down 6th gen is better by a huge margin. It feels like the 6th gen has more suspension travel.
It also feels like the 6th gen corners better. Drive one hard and you will see.
I'm comparing stock 6th gen civic coupe vs. stock 7th gen coupe.
Also when lowered I'm guessing the 6th gen doesn't ride as rough due to the longer springs they use.
