Computer fan intake..

This guy I know took a huge 400A computer fan and stuck it behind his filter on his AEM intake and wired it up so it would kick in at full throtle. anyone else heard of this? he said it really added some kick.

sounds like a good idea.. average 80mm casefan will move about 40 cubic feet of air a minute.. thats gutta provide some sorta kick..

Its more than 40 cfm... Its well over 100 IIRC. Either way, I'm sure the engine will sound really cool when it gets cold and the brittle plastic fan pieces make their way into the engine.

good point.. maybe some sort of screen behind it would be in order.. casefans are not that great in cold weather.. and they are not really made to be bounced around like they would be when driving.. hmmm..
