Where can i find a white or silver face guage for my speedo that does not illuminated blue or green? I want to use my stock colored lights but just basically have it white during the daytime instead of the black one. My veh is a 2002 civic LX coupe if that helps. Thanks

Not sure about getting custom work done. I like the idea of the sedan switch. Just to make sure the 01-03 sedan will have a white face guage speedo that'll find a coupe right? Anyone have any pics?

The only car with a silver face is the 2002 sedan ONLY! I still have the face that I pulled off, but I ruined it with acetone trying to clear the back. But you could buy the cluster on ebay (it's there now) and carefully remove the face. Then swap it into your own cluster. Only problem is the 02 face is glued on, so you have to carefully dig it up without bending too much. Oh and the color comes from paint behind the faces. Sedan is greenish yellow and coupe is red. I did the same thing, only I swapped 01 black gauge faces in my 02 cluster and cleared the paint off the back so I could change the backlight to EL blue.

^thats def. not right, i have a 2002 coupe ex with silver face. Thats what he said
, even though he's mistaken. The 2004-05 DX sedans have the same gauges, at least here in Canada.

I don't know about Canada, but in the US no coupes have silver face. They have that greyish dull color. Do you have pics of your coupe gauges?

Yup. That's on ebay. I used to have those on my 02 sedan before I ruined em
I like the 01 sedan black face better anyway. But yeah, try and check ebay or even a junkyard.

Those are alright but I'm looking to keep the stock red/orange color and not change it to blue.
I tried purchasing the speedo from hondaautomotiveparts.com but they don't carry them anymore and I can't find them on Ebay yet. I'll try the junkyards and keep you all up to date on the swap.

From experience, I can say that it won't be easy to transplant the faces. The silver ones are glued on, and I scratched the paint trying to pry them off with a screwdriver. So there were scratch lines you could see at night. You could clear the paint off entirely and do custom lighting, but that's not what you're wanting. If you swap the whole cluster, the mileage will be different.
Try and look for some overlays or maybe even make your own indiglo gauges. They do have different colors of EL besides green and blue. Have you looked at speedhut?
