i got a Panasonic stereo, but don't know why it will auto shut off and restart after i turn on the turn signal light. It looks like not enougth power for the stereo. And while the turn signal light is blanking, the a/c light will dim a little bit also(if i turned on the a/c). i just installed a Optima Yellow top battery last month. is it some problem with my alternator??

It might be getting weak, do you have any trouble starting your car? How do you have the HU's turn on lead hooked up, straight to the normal wire on the harness [blue/white i think]. Also, do you have any other audio stuff, amps, etc?

after i change the battery, i don't have any trouble starting the car. and i hooked up my HU straight to the blue/white wire. i don't have any other audio stuff. The problem always happens on low RPM or while the car idle.

what wire did you hook up to the Blue/white wire? Are you saying you hooked the yellow wire from the HU to the Blue/white wire from the car's harnes? that would be wrong. Can't remember what the blue/white wire would be, maybe a speaker wire?
