I killed a tibby

So last nite my whole car club was at mcdonalds getting some food. We decided to go back to Devin's house (founder of the club) to chill.

We had to get on a highway to go back, so we all got on together. I always have to lead when im driving, so i was upfront in the right lane. I see one of our members with a white tiburon pull up next to me. I look over and I see him smiling, glancing at me.

All the sudden he drops it and pulls a half a car on me. I floored it....the turbo was already spooled, so 6800rpm came mighty quick. By the time I switched gears, I had already gained my lead back. As I wound up 4th gear, I just pulled and pulled.....eventually he just fell back into the line of cars.

I love boost

I'll assume it was a GT, because the base models are just painfully slow. Tiburon GTs are notoriously slow, apparantly as a result of being really bloody heavy and not-so-great gearing, stock a GT Tibby can't even break into the 15s.

Good kill though.

I took a tibby once but it was kinda close. I don't think I'd brag if I was boosted though

You are going to need a whole lot more then 6PSI if you plan on taking on a moded Z28. Do you have future plans for an engine build? You also have to wonder when that ATX is going to grenede, especially when you start upping that PSI. In fact, I would be more worried about the transmission then anything else at this point.
