Talking transfer apps are ready to be submitted

wuddup guys...

after a grueling 3.5 years at a junior college, i'm finally on my way out

for those of you that are wondering why i took so long... i was almost done a year and a half ago except i had a change in heart in what i wanted to do in life... i was majoring in biochem to transfer as a predental student but i really didn't like the idea of looking into someone mouth for 8 hours a day and inflicting pain.... SOOOOOOOO.... i decided to switch to business marketing or finance and plan on going for my MBA

anyways.... i was just wondering if you guys would give me your opinions on the schools that i'm thinking of transfering to...

University of California (UC)
Riverside
San Diego
Santa Cruz
Santa Barbra

California State University (CSU)
Fullerton
San Diego State
San Bernardino
Cal Poly Pomona

i went to UC Riverside for 3 1/2 years, and i honestly HATED it, i couldnt get the classes i needed, didnt like most of the professors, parking sucks (all parking sucks but UCR IS BAD), etc. i can tell you alot about my experience if your interested. personally id stick with UCSD or CS Fullerton, just my opinion.

If you want a good business school come over to UC Berkeley and we got a very good MBA program too.

What up Daniel, i'm in the same boat as you and i gotta get my statement ready and get those apps sent out. I'm a Business major as well and as far as the UCs you listed...only riverside actually has a 'business program' All others are okay if its economics you wanted. Out of the CSUs I heard Fullerton had a decent business program, but haven't really heard much of the rest. Honestly I'll probably end up at UCRiverside. I dont care if parking sucks, classes are hard to get, etc...you're going to have to deal with it anywhere. If you can get into Berkely then jump on it because thats one of the top schools in the nation! As long as you work hard wherever you're at then you'll do fine.

Forget about CSU's unless maybe its Cal Poly or SLO.
The 3.5 years you spent in JC isn't worth a CalState.
You deserve to go to a UC.

I graduated from UC Santa Cruz. It was alright but definitely a lot different than OC. The school is actually in the woods...you can see deer almost everday. Super expensive housing but it's also really close to the beach...about 5-10 minutes.

UCSD was accepting transfer students with a GPA as low as 2.80 last year... (i talked to a rep).... but trust me, with budget cuts and etc, you're in for some crazy competition...
