What can i do to my car to get it faster?
Hi, i have a 2004 Civic LX Automatic, and I want to make it faster. What can i do to it? Im thinking about turbo kit and do some stuff to the tranny but dont know what all i need. Can someone list some stuff that i can do to my car, the price of the product and for it to be installed, and approx how much power can be gained?

Well ur not gonna go very fast in an automatic first of all. But if you want some slight performance boosts, you can looks into bolt ons, such as-
Exhaust- most run around 400-600
Intake- Wide variety, range in price from 100-355
Headers- Also pretty good selection, price ranges from 200 and up
Spark Plugs
Injectors
If ur lookin into Turbo, check out the Dezod thread. They have built a full kit for our engines. Their kit will run around 4,000. Add another 2000 to it for tuning, gauges, fuel management system, turbo timer, boost controller, etc.

I think u should do the K20 swap....sorry but your auto wont be fast no matter what....sure u can throw nitrous or a turbo on there but how long with that D17 hold up under nitrous and/or turbo....I say swap and for $6000 the guy just mentioned above...go with swap...either do the K20A2 (RSX type S) swap with I/H/E and Hondata or I would go with K20A3 (Civic SI and Base RSX) swap with boost...good luck man
I'm personally, in the future, will be going with probably a K20A3 with boost OR K20A2 with N/A mods....more than likely it will be the K20A3 w/boost b/c boosting is so much fun

Ok, i guess i'll save for a swap for Rsx-S engine, how much am i looking at? What all would i need for the swap? Who can i bring it to to swap, i live in a small city so it might be hard and would they have all needed material for swap or would i have to buy them?
