k20a swap w/ turbo
a kid where I work has an overbored k20a boosted @ 18psi...I helped him with all the work
the biatch pulls like a mother through all the gears, I think he's taken it down into the 13's...but the kid has money, changed EVERYTHING up including internals etc. etc. etc.
if you have the money it certainly will fit depending on your turbo kit...fabrication needed...if you don't have room just blister the hood...

My civic has a K20A3 with greddy turbo and it all fit like a golve. I was worried abouth the clearance between the firewall and the turbo, but there is acutually more room there than you think.

Just busting your chops. Swaps arent everything. The mighty D17 can smake a little power to. Just there is a wall you will hit around 300whp. It is called a tranny. No one has upgraded that yet to find out if there is a replacement that will take higher numbers.

If you cant go mid 13's in this on 7-8 psi, then something is wrong.
The gearing is great for a 1/4 mile run. And as for compression, let me put it this way... The celica GTS is 12.5:1 compression. We run 8-10 psi all day long on pump gas and no alcohol with no problems. We ran 11 psi on the K20A2 with no signs of detonation.
^^ hehe 11.5:1 compression actually. but yeah will hold 10 psi np
10 psi on the SF gts kit dynoed 277 whp on stock internals and no boost controller. coulda made more power if we coulda held the boost steady lol
if you want to turbo the swap I'd say go for it. you'd have potential for a 12 second civic. (will be driver limited)
