I was just heading home from UCI tonight, and I get off the freeway only to find a red light awaiting me. So, I stop [big surprise], and this orange Scion xB drives away with what sounded like an exhaust upgrade. I think nothing of it, just wondering if it really does have an exhaust.

I finally catch up to him in traffic, and notice that it is just the stock exhaust made to sound like aftermarket... it also had chrome wheels that were probably 15's or 16's. Whatever, I thought, and continued working through the traffic to find open road once again; every move I made, I found the xB a little behind me, but keeping up.

So I get to my cross-street, which is a very steep hill, and begin rolling to a stop at a light after I make the turn. xB-boy is coming up on the light when it turns green, and then he just punches it, making his quarterpanel even to my headlight. I was still in second, so I gave it a go. Before I had to shift, I was already neck and neck with the ugly orange; after that, I just blew by him and left him behind all the way up the hill.

As my street came, I went into his lane [left] and he dashed to the right [although he was about four car lengths behind me] and did the vroom fly-by... bleh to him.

That car definately has potential. I remember a while back when 00celicagts6spd raced one and that thing kept up all the way to 130... It was supercharged...but still.
BTW, I think 00celicagts6spd runs like 13.7 in the 1/4....

the orange ones are those "limited edition" ones......
the xB naturally has a deeper tone than the Civic. but........... they are pretty slow. My cousin has an xA and I'm 100% I can win that car in a race anyday.

man, I wish 00celicagts6spd would start posting again but I haven't seen him in a while. I'm not exactly sure if the scion won the race or it was really close...can't remember. I know it gave him a run for his money

damn those box *** ones are kool for just chillin, put a tv in there ps2, but if your into racing its not practical. one of them only go to 110 on the speedo i think, but that doesnt matter, the speed limit is only 65

well ofcourse theyre not drag cars. they have the Echo's motor in them! you dont buy an xA or xB and expect to win races. theyre more like pnoyboi said. just for lookin good, havin a reliable car, and carryin only what you need.

they have a supercharger from blitz to fit the xb. it's about $3000 and only makes an extra 15hp.
