Well I was sittin at the red light on a two lane road on my way home from college today in my Si when a Silver 2k1 with the full OEM kit and cleared lights pulls beside me. I pull my window down and he cracks his, and Im like yo I got a 2k1 too, you wanna pull over up here so I can give you my #? Light turns green and he just grins and guns it. I was like wtf and step on it myself. Needless to say he ate my dust, and by the time I slowed a little, and looked behind, he was already gone, I assume he turned onto a side road. So yet another 2k1 owner from PA vanishes without me finding out how to get a hold of em. But in the same sense another win for my Si [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

BTW neomagus: howcome you use the Canadian "SiR" designation for your 1999 Civic? Shouldn't it be the "Si" since you live in the States?

That has happened to me before. I saw a nice civic in Austin on the highway and I roll down my window to give him his prop on his car. After I motioned that I like his car, he gave me a "go to hell" look.

I just don't understand why people gotta hate on others cars. My friends and I see a nice car and I'm the only one who checks it out. They tell me "why you jockin that fool?" Am I jockin or admiring?

You may be admiring, but to most idiots...your sweating or jocking their ride. It sux...but sometimes bein nice doesn't getcha places. ANd starin at someoenes car only boosts their ego...that's why then they act all high and mighty.

The thing is I know about 5 ppl (all of which are in my car club) that have done up Civics around here, and all of use try to look for the ppl with 2k1s so we can get advice, etc just like on the site...I didnt see any reason for him to gun it on me. He didnt have a sunroof so I dont know if he thought his DX/LX could run with my Si or what. But [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] on him, his loss.

And Ronin, I put SiR in my signature, cuz everyone knows thats the US Si on here.. if I would put Si somebody would mistake it for a Canadian EX [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I was the first with a 2k1 in my school but now there are four including myself. i tried to talk to one guy about his but he was too cool I guess so he gets the [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]. This girl got a black 2k1- she's hot- and we talked about it - she wants to go out sometime, but she was pi$$ed that i got a bunch of mods alredy cause she wanted to be the first.

I had a nicely equiped 98 Integra GSR stolen a few months ago and now everyone says there eating my car and I never raced any of them.

All I say is, your lucky I don't still have my Integra cause we wouldnt even be talking right now...i'd be tearing you a new hole!

My new Civic's mint though, can't compain.

I pulled up next to a red EX on the freeway once, he had rims and altezzas. I motioned to him, and hollored "NICE RIDE" and he looked at me stoooopid. So, I push clutch in rev real hard and he gets the idea...slammed into 3rd gear and never saw him again...'cept for his headlights trying to keep up in the rearview. Sucka.

I duno... if someone does that to me, I'd feel kinda akward. I dont want to be rude and stuff but I guess u either pull something stupid like that kid did or u say "no thanks" but saying no thanks is kinda weird too...

hope this doens't happen to me, I dont like making friends. hahaha.
