To someone who knows alot about swapping
To someone who knows alot about swapping
I have a 85 toyota corolla. I want to know what can i swap in that, its gonna be a major sleeper. Can i swap in a civic engine with its tranny also. I Need some damn fast engine and transmission that will fit nicely and has 30,000 to 70,000 miles. If anyone has any ideas at all of what i can swap in it. Thatd be great thanks!
the only thing that car is good for is drifting, swap a jdm ae86 engine and tune it and go drifting in it dont swap a honda engine you have a jewel on your hands. drifting is fun as hell even though i suck at it but if you do decide to use it for drifting dont do it on the street seen way to many people wreck great cars showing off on back roads. just my 2 cents
damn...i love truenos and drifting too. if you're planning on doing a swap itll be nice to go with either the 16v jdm ae101 4a-gze (170hp) or the 20v ae111 4a-ge 20v. i was gonna buy my uncle's 85 corrola hatch, but then i found my 91 mr2 turbo and fell in love with it. but those suckers are sweet as fuck!

IF you cant find the 5 valve (20V) engine, try to get a newer 3SGTE.... they still make that engine currently in Japan. The old 4AGE would be tough to find.... along with the AE111 4AGE engine.
I need something FWD but fast! I dont want to do any major Drive changes. Whats the fastest easiest cheapest motor i can put into my 85 corolla. That just mounts up and i can use the same transmission. Also were is a website were i can find this engine
i would recommend you bring this to a more appropriate forum post this on this website and in this forum
