HKS Manifold + Wastegate = possible?

Is it possible to have a wastegate flange mounted on the HKS manifold.

HKS is a cast manifold. you would have to bore out a whole on the top and wled it in. That would weaken the manifold and be difficult due to the thickness of the manifold.I used to own one.

Nah, if its good quality casting its not a problem to do that. In time it may crack though depening on lots of variables and/or who you have put it on.

The downside is you can only weld steel onto cast iron using Nickle, in high heat applications. Its typically going to crack eventually anyways. Why do you want an external gate so bad?
