B18's and B16's are illegal under our hoods. The only swap you would be able to get would be a K20a2 or k20a3. If you get a K20a2, you cant have an auto tranny. You'll have to get used to the 6speed. I dont know if the K20a3 comes in auto

In any 01 civic, the only legal B-series engine swap would be a B18 from a 2001 Integra. I don't know how much this would cost, as you would need some custom engine mounts made as well as a lot of other things.

Just forget the swap idea and wait til you get a new car with an already decent stock motor. Until then, if you want some info, search on the web...swap stuff is everywhere, www.honda-tech.com, www.honda-acura.com, www.performancefreaks.com theres just a few have fun

You will need a lot of things to do the swap.
Custom Motor Mounts, Custom Alexs, custom clutch line, custom shifter cables, performance radiator, and so on and so on.
If you are on a tight buget, than a swap is not for you. Look into boost your D17. But save some money up. Cause when you start to get into heavy modifications, you will need money for any problems that will happen down the road.

It required
Custom motormounts (see Hasport for release date)
Custom axles. the Driveshaftshop now can do them "off the shelf"
Rod style shifter retrofit with custom rods. This was a major consumer of time/effort.
Subframe mods to clear header
Lots of electrical work but I did a stand alone EMS so the factory harness was stripped out of the car anyway.
Return type fuel system.
Currently, It's a MAJOR custom fab swap. Untill HASport or somebody comes out with a bolt in kit that includes shiftrods and a header I would not recommend it.

Any ls integra would still probably beat you in a race b/c of weight ratios and the automatic...
