SF kit boost controller install

To install a boost controller (MBC, in my case) on the internal wastegate setup, do I tee off that vacuum line connecting the wastegate to the housing, and run that to a vacuum source? Which side of the boost controller points to the actuator? And where is the closest vacuum source to that thing? The throttle body one is kinda far...

My MBC is a bleeder valve spliced into the little hose from the turbo to the actuator housing. It does not go to any vacum source. The more you open the valve the more boost you get. You just open a little boost check the gauge and keep doing that in small steps until you are happy. I actually have a $2 fish tank valve from Petco.
