i seached an amazingly no answer.
whats the engine code for the ex, dx, lx?
i got a 2004 VP and my engine code is a d17a2
and i believe some people are mistaking d17a2 for vtec, and i am kinda sure i dont have the vtec engine. thanks in advance

u kinda sure.. go check ur engine real quick... check ur head on the back left there should be this little thing sticking out of the head that looks like a pump.. there should be a blue wire(i think its the saem in all vtecs) coming out of there and a white round clip thing too... if you have that then its definitely vtec

haha..its all good..u know whats funny is that i think im the only one that has a d17a1 code but has vtec.... i think gearbox is wrong on his code too.. but u never know
