it should come with a boost controller with two rubber hoses attached to it... I'm no boost junky but I believe that's where you adjust boost!...

If it did come with a boost controller, but the wastegate is set at say, 7 psi, it wont matter that the boost controller is there. The boost controller cant make it open at a lower psi than the wastegate actuator does, only a higher psi. If you want to open lower than the actuator is currently setup at, you have two options. A: replace the actuator with one that opens lower, though I am not sure why you would want to only run 5 psi. B: Bend the arm of the actuator to get it to open this is a trial an error thing I wouldnt recommend.

If its adjustable its just adjustable in how far it opens. usually the shaft from the actuator to the flapper arm is threaded so you can extend or shorten it

right.........the rod coming from the actuator to the flapper in the downpipe adjust the boost. Loosen the nut and take the rod off of the flapper on the downpipe.

To lower the boost, turn the rod and make it longer.

To raise the boost level, make the rod shorter.

Then reattach to the flapper

Bout time someone gave the right advice for this issue! On SF internally gated turbos, they come with progressive wastegates. Meaning you can adjust the boost but lengthening or shorthening the wastegate. As stated earlier, shorter means higher boost, a longer rod means less boost.
