hey all

I have the sparco strip pedals and the chrome finsih started to chip off (been to the store, tried and cant get refund or exchange)

I was wondering what I can do to completly remove the chrome plating finish to expose the bare metal so that I can paint them a new colour to match my interior colour scheme.

Paint stripper. There's also some Castrol product that we found out (accidentally) will strip rims of their clear coat. We then used it to strip the rest of the rims and painted.
If you wanna just really scuff it up, use some steel wool or sandpaper - it'll get the finish off too.

what Castrol product? sounds like it could come in handy for some projects....
