damn i didnt think that many people had a vp on this bored. i talked to a guy at a honda dealer and he said he can get me the gauge peices that coem for the ex lx (tach and thesmall fuel and temp gauges) for like 70 bucks. if i dont do that then im going to try to find an a pillar with 2 normal size cups and 1 large cup for a tach

Alot of people have done creative things with the dx. You could just get an EX cluster and swap it if you don't care about selling your car (mileage). Or mount one inside where the empty hole is.

speaking of which... does anyone have the autometer 5' tach... you know how theres 2 wires in the back that u have 2 cut depending on your config.. well.. u supposed to leave both wires connected for a v8 setup.. and then u cut the brown wire for v6...then heres where im stuck.... theres 2 configs for a 4 cyclinder setup... it says to cut the blue wire for a 4 cyclinder (2 pulse) setup but theres also another one that says to cut both blue and brown wire for a 4 cyclinder (1 pulse) setup... which is the correct setup for the wires???
like i said earlier.. i have the manual in front of me and the PDF is the same thing as the one i have..they talk about our civics on there website about how our cars are distributorless but dont say if its a 1 pulse or 2 pulse.... so like i was saying, theres 2 configurations for 4 cylinders..

Heres the pics, Right now its attached with velcro =p but thats just a temporary thing. The tach itself can be found online, but its fairly cheap at Pep boys, i think its $30, The install took about an hour, to get all the wiring right. If anyone has any question or needs more pics feel free to PM me.
BTW you can get the tach with a black backing, instead of white.
