How do you install new tie rod boots?

Does anyone know how to, and where to grease it? (I guess obviously around the tie rod bolt.)

if its a greasable replacement tie rod then it may or may not have a grease zert. If it has one use a grease gun on the zert, if it dont then you wait till it wears out and replace it

The boot is very worn... it's worn in half actually. I need to put it on before I get my new suspension.

it's easier to replace the tie rod boot when it is still attached to the strut

just do it yourself and don't take it to dealer or shop...no more than 30 mins max

OK, I have no idea how to do this either, but I found these in the EP3 service manual, probably the same as the EM/ES (I don't have the manual for this model)....I hope it helps. If not, please don't hate me.

Interesting... that special tool looks like a socket but I'm sure it's not. Do you know what it's called? Thanks.
