lag would be crazy unless you built them with a smaller turbo for low RPM and a bigger one for high RPM, but the biggest factor is $$$.
someone actually did a TT civic on www.homemadeturbo.com if you search for it.

a v6 is what is limiting a TT....not saying it can't be done. Ive seen a few pics floating around but that is just way to overkill, it would be all 'hype' and useless performance....like just getting TT just to say you have a TT...ya know?

There was a pic of that LS1 with 1 small turbo per each of its 8 cylinders. So anything can be done.

well... has anyone else noticed all the fastest Supra's switch to one HUGE SIngle-turbo setup because the single turbo setups are always faster.... that might be a clue there guys... just an observation

And yes, single turbos usually do run better, stronger and faster than twins. It is just fun to see what can be done sometimes.

Uh, dumb rhetorical idea, but if you can push enough pressure with one turbo on your I-4 to blow it out from under your hood, do you really need two?
Lag might be an issue with that one turbo, but with two do you really think it will get any better when you have close to twice the mass to move with the same airflow?
Not heard anybody complain about the SF size turbo's and lag..... Heard a lot of raves on their power and seen a time or two where someone has blown their junk up with it.
Ah well, I suppose if you just must have a TT civic, rock on with your bad self... Just hold down the checkbook, cause it's gonna get rocked too.
