Revo SS Install Info.
Edit: Install completed! A few helpful pictures enclosed!
I have taken off my 03 center console and everything....
How do I get the primary and secondary clutch lines out of the stock plastic housing? It seems like I have to turn it or something. The pimary line looks like it was MADE in the car or something. I do not see any leeway for popping/loosening.
Help. I'm DIYing it as we speak.

Yah, if I recall you have to twist the metal brackets 90 degrees out of the mount. Then turn them 90 degrees to install them.

The secondary cable you have to turn it counterclockwise and it will make a small snapping sound. Then it slides off easy as pie.
You may have to use a flathead screwdriver... shove it vertically on the right hand side of that gray **** (the side with the little fin) at the 3'oclock position, and then pry the screwdriver so that it turns the fin counterclockwise.

It's easier to take out the metal rings from the rubber bushings before installing the bushings back into the newer shifter assembly. Insert rubber bushings and then push the metal rings in afterwards.
Nice! The only problem i had with my revo was that the threads were messed up. I couldnt screw down my aftermarket shift **** down all the way. It only went down half way. But it went down smoothly on my OEM shifter. I didnt notice this problem when i put my OEM **** on the Revo becuase the OEM **** is longer, and covers up the threads, so i didnt notice that the OEM **** didnt go down all the way.
anyone else have messed up threads w/ their revo?

I should have seen this thread before I installed my REVO SS yesterday. I couldnt get off the secondary cable to I used a hack-saw to remove it
The install instructions for 04 Civic is different and I thought 03-below can be easily removed. So I just used a hack-saw.
Other than that, it was a time-consuming job especially grinding down the grey/s washer with rubber liner. I installed Capyodas as well, and this shifter is solid!!!

And I just found out that I'm supposed to take the rubber and the metal part before installing the Capyoda bushing
But it still works while its on there!!!
edit: and on top of that, the washers are upside down compared to the install instructions
