Dammit I love my V2
Dammit I love my V2
I did a full ground upgrade and installed an AEM V2 intake and damn from 4500 upward the car feels so much more lively... Also the sound is f'n sweet... I HIGHLY recommend the AEM V2 for LX/DX owners... I haven't heard EX owners have as good results... but for my car... I've been extremely happy with it...

I had the V2 for 4 months, and then it broke... I cant upload the pictures here b/c they are about 1.5 megs each. If you want pics or details, let me know. I think I'm 1 of 3-5 ppl with that problem though..... I still recommend the V2

^ go into paint, open the pictures, go to "strech/skew" and type in 25% for each of the horizontal and vertical boxes. Save the new images as a different name. And BAM smaller pix!

I have an 02 EX M/T. I bought the V2, and its sweeeet. I got so much power, its unbelievable. After 5000RPM, its sounding sweet and, I just love it. Cant wait for the Venom 400 and my tenape exhaust.
Looks like someone forgot to turn the gas on while they were welding that back at the factory. Not having argon flowing lets oxygen get into the weld where it oxidizes instantly at welding temperatures and makes the weld brittle.

Well... the welder must have had gas when s/he made mine, cause I've had mine for over a year with no problems. In any case, AEM should fix/replace. Just make sure you're nice to the person on the phone--Golden Rule and all.

I have a 2002 civic lx auto and I use to have the aem short ram intake but yesturday I got the the v2 and the throttle response is better and the sound is little louder. So far my throttle body is still clean I have 57000 miles on my car.
