My AEM is supposed to be here monday. It is the red SRI. and dont even say i should have gotten the CAI because i have an automatic.
anyways when it comes in i dont wanna have my stock box off and not be able to get it on so if there is a link with pics of this or if any one cared to share it would be helpful.

You should've gotten INJEN CAI instead.

I hate my intake lol......Its all for looks
Yeah its basically the same way...its pretty easy to figure out once you remove all the pieces. In the DIY they have you take the stuff apart like the air filter boxes and stuff. I just removed the screws holding all the air boxes and took them apart in 3 pieces...its pretty straight forward.
i ordered my aem sri for automatic from www.importhorizon.com
they included instructions. but its a no hassle job. just un bolting and bolting back on. just make sure you keep every single piece because i know someday you want to sell the sri or airbox for little cash. good luck on the install though, no worries about it.
as for losing low end, i believe that is true. i have an 03 ex automatic coupe and when i try to merge on the freeway, i thought something was wrong. so i got onto 7thgen.com and heard about the members here had the same stories about losing low end. but ****, at least my car wasn't fcuked up or anythin =D. but when u get in the higher rpm levels, it sounds real nice and adds a drop of juice.

Yeah you def lose low end especially when the ac is on. Its kinda weird though...I dont really notice it when I pull off the line. Its more like when your doing about 20 and goto floor it (you wont hit the passing gear) ...the car just feels kinda heavy and sluggish. Once you get moving though like i'd say around 60 and floor it you hit that passing gear and vroom you def feel the differance. And the sound is priceless...to me anyway.
