how do you take out factory head unit on 2003 civic??.. i looked in tha DIY but the thing looks different from ma car... but i did try it out.. i stuck my thumb into the lighter and tried to pull it out, but it wouldnt even come out..

well in my 02 you have to take the center console out of the car .. then pull off the cig lighter part then pry the part where the cd player is. your interior is totally diff than mine ... go check out the audio section of this site. or if all else fails have somebody install your cdplayer like bestbuy or w/e

yeah... but my homie gave me a deck an i wanna install it in ma car.. an the retail on that deck is like... 500 or something... ( pioneer 8400mp ) so yeah..
