How cool is it to drive to Summit Racing and buy one right off the shelf?

Its the best 100 bucks you can spend. The car deffinately pulls harder all the way thru the power band and sounds like a raped banchee. I went step further and put on an APC filter heat shield and the before and after with and w/o was noticeable. So if you want a little more puch put one on.

My custom intake sounded good and felt some high end gains, but this thing is TUNED for the car. i did some research on th net and couldnt believe how soundwaves are incorperated into these things to push more air into the cumbustion chambers. The car w/o the AEM tubing isnt as loud as with the tubing! The design does all that, so custom intake builders might as well give up because ive tried several versions but you'll never be able to tune the thing to work right. i wonder how it would work with a K&N filter that has a funnel cone inward top to pull in even more air? It might throww of the "resonance". Also, if you repaint or put more brackets on the tuning you'll mss with the tuning and lose power too.

Nice I guess. I'm done with AEM. Intakes suck imo, and their cam gear almost ruined my car.
