Tranny re-build
okay i did a little searching on this topic but did not find much. I was jsut curious if anyone had/s rebuilt there tranny? Because i was looking into doing it? and i really do not know much about what to do as far as if someone has made different gears or a final drive gear....... but im an interested in what info people have on this or if they have done this themselves. please give me some feed back thanks

all i know is i called all the places that work on trannys around me and none of them will work on an auto tranny and put an upgraded kit inside it. im sol untill i get 3 grand for a prebuilt upgraded one
are we talking about a manual trans here?
i am not sure how different these latest d-series transmission are, but likely you could swap items with other d-series. other than that, you're not going to find anything custom, unless you have it made for you.
really, I would say its not worth it, unfortunately.

I still hate this guy cause he sold me some crappy *** synchro rings a few years ago. but he has good info.
