exhaust too loud for my liking

I just got an midpipe...I dunno what brand it is, but its nice and shiney and its made out of stainless steel.....

Before the mid-pipe I had a muffler that barely made a sound from the stock midpipe...now with this new midpipe, my exhaust is louder then I want it to be

what can I do? Can a new midpipe soften the sound a bit...

Anyone wanna trade? only two days old.....

Is there a resonator in the midpipe? If not, just put one in and that will solve your problem.

you should sell your muffler and get one that has a silencer in it. My exhaust is freakin' bassy as hell!!! But when i put the silencer in, you can barely even hear it until you punch it!! It's almost stock.

my midpipe is for an SI.....Its made from Stainless steel. I got it from my local shop called Option Auto and I paid $300 for it.....It might be much but I when I bought it I needed a midpipe ASAP so I paid it. Long story....just take it easy when backing up into a driveway when its sloped to high

BTW also......Now I had my new midpipe for two days....driven i dunno ummmm...350km.....Its seems quieter and more the way I like it to sound now.

My question is...Did the ECU have to get used to the extra flow in the exhaust?

cuz I swear it is a lot more quieter....maybe its juss me and im sick and it effect my ears but I swear its quieter....

no to the filter cleaning question and no to the ecu question.

Your just getting use to it.

When I had my exhaust put on I almost turned around had them take it off.

Get a ebay silencer or a bigger resonator, one that lloks like the stock one.

you're prolly just getting used to the sound.

it will stay loud if you're on the highway...
but you'll get used to that anyways.

i have two resonators on. LOL
one for different reasons at the point of installation.
but i still like my sound, sounds a lil' deep.. with a slight high pitch.
