OBX racing headers
I have the OBX header and it works great. I have the AEM V2, OBX header, and Thermal R&D catback, and I have great gains on my DX stick. I don't know how some of you guys can say it doesnt do anything because it is EXACTLY the same mold as the Kamikaze header and that header is one of the best on the market today. I only paid 130.00 shipped from Ebay for it too. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with an lx/dx.
Yes they do. They give the engine a little grumbling sound to go along with the exhaust. That is the first thing that i noticed after my Megan Racing Header after i already had a CAI and Cat-back exhaust. I noticed the grumble right away from a idle. It is the kind of grumble that you hear from old school VW Buggies. Very cool sound. But after I got my Megan Racing Hi Flow Cat the sound seemed to go away.
I noticed a gain, It isn't something that you would expect from a Cam, pistons, or a port and polish but it a similar gain like from what you would feel or have felt from a intake or cat-back exhaust.

Lid that is a LX header...I know I have one myself....looks real good once it blues up too. I did not notice any gains and it did give a raspy sound to my exhaust. that is ok though does a great job if you ask me!

a high flow cat will increase the sound of your exgaust...and on the hp side yes/no...depends on the high flow cat...but it should help to get more hp from your exgaust system.
and lid that header is for a lx not ex. the o2 bungs are in the wrong place for a ex...

yes the shorter one shown bolts right up to ex.
both of your cars.
i have that one. works fine. probably not pure stainless else it wouldn't have rust up that much. its a DC replica.
the DX/LX one is kamikaze replica design.
the DX/LX is a good bang for the buck. as for the EX one, dont expect to feel anything. but it works.

you will at least have to cut the downpipe and weld a flange on the part you cut below the headers for it to bolt up. and the OBX downpipe won't work on your car...it is too short. You would have to buy one off ebay or something if you gotta have a new downpipe. Even still with the LX headers you will have to cut and weld on that one too plus you lose your cat and your check engine light will come on till you get an o2 sim. if you use this header and cut the stock downpipe leave the after cat o2 sensor where it is and you can put the before cat 02 in either hole....then just get a bolt and plug the 3rd hole....that is what I did...works fine. You guys should just bolt on the header and forget the downpipe
See what it sounds like!
haha i heard someone in a civic did that...i think on homemadeturbo.com
and he got alot of low end torque.....im guessing its cause the exhaust had alot less pipe to travel though.

Ya on sunday I am going to try to install it > I already emailed the company from ebay about getting the wrong header but ifi can install it I will. If i get the ex header does it come with a downpipe?
thx
thx
Yes We tried to install It but the downpipe it came with was not long enough!
Also I could not install the header on my car cause the stock downpipe was to long
So I have to return
If they dont let me return It I will let it go for 100 + shipping Brand new Obx stainless steel header for the hx lx 01+

errr u're looking at the wrong one. the LX one wont bolt on to EX civics. the one with 2 holes on it wont fit on the EX.. u'll need new downpipe welded on.
ex has only 2 holes. and they're both on the downpipe/cat convertor.
the much shorter one is the one for EX. which as u can see.. has no o2 sensor holes on it.
