Interior Shampoo place?
I need to get rid os some minor salt stains from the winter, I would rather not give it to a detail place cause its gonna get pricy. Anyone know where their are some coin machines or whatnot? Or does anyone have a shampoo cleaner that I may use?
all those winter mud and salt stains on my interior i got rid of myself. got my shampoo from crappy tire. its an upholstery/carpet cleaner. comes in a red bottle, has a brush at the top. its costs less than 10 bucks and it even works on my sofa!
anyways it will last you a long time, i got my bottle in july 03 (the day after i got my car i spotted a lil dirt on the floor) and i am probably not even half done the whole bottle, and i always am using this stuff.
anyways hope that helps and good luck

no, actually this is what you do... no water needed.
You spray it and then use the brush after spraying the part where you wish to clean. wherever you sprayed, you scrub with the brush. good stuff IMO. if you're around richmond hill, fell free to come by my place and try some out before ya go buy it.
Ive seen people use the shampoo to be mixed with water and it left your interior feeling damp, you had to vacuum out the water which got deep in the upholstery. this goes in a bit but the brush brings out all the dirt, leaving it smelling, feeling, and looking brand new.
LMK if ya wanna come by

Good post, I've been looking for something to fix my stupid salt stains in the driver side
I even had TWO sets of plastic winter mats in there, and the side part near the trunk/gas cap lever still has stains

well i made my own winter mats because my Honda ones are too nice for winter, and after winter i took them out and cleaned the floor using this stuff, and its now clean as the day i got the car.
Furball- This stuff is great for that place, i know exactly where you mean. with the brush provided, you can get in there easily and scrub away until its clean.
post and lemme know how it goes guys, enjoy, and good luck!

I haven't gotten a chance yet to work the magic in my car, probably on the weekend...
I'm scared of using it though..... ANY kind of liquid in the car, especially if it gets stuck between the carpet and the inside metal floor == R U S T
I'll try it out on the wkend, got big sections of the car to do, probably do it near those coin ops, so I can use the vacuum
