probably a 12v....I would suggest this.
U probably have a red and black.
Black= ground
red = power
Run the black to yoru nearest ground.....I.E. frame of the car...even the firewall will work.
For the power, I would run it under the shift boot, then run it up into the cig lighter area. Behind there you will find the power...not sure what color but I thinks it's red. If you have a voltemeter try it out.
Splice into that wire with your power and walla, you got yourself an indiglo shift ****...
Another good point to ground it is under the glove box, theres a metal beem that runs under it, I have a few things grounded there.
Remeber, it won't illuminate if you don't have 0 ground.

I recommend tapping the wire into the parklight fuse, so it only comes on when you turn on your parklights (ie it's dim enough that you can see the **** light up).

I recently did mine a few months ago. I love it. I put a switch on mine though. I ran it to the cig. and everything else works well.
