I have a 03 blue civic with an ugly tan interior. I'm planning on shaving my door handles but in the interior i want to fill in the brown parts where the door handle and door locks are that way everything will look nice and flush but i also want to paint them a different color as well. and I figured i should just take out the actual dash too while i'm at it and I'm not talking about the trim pieces either i mean like where the pass. air bag is and so forth. But i'm wondering what is the best way to do it? can i just sand and paint it or do i just need to make new pieces out of fiberglass?

If u want black u could go to a juknyard and get the peices there. thats what i am going to do after i get my exterior finished.

You are going to need some good vinyl paint. I did the entire dash, doors, console, and t-tops of a 77 Corvette. The guy was restoring the car and was buying interior panels as he found them so he had a bunch of mismatched panels. I painted them black for him about 5 years ago and they looked brand new and still look brand new. I got the paint from this place.

unless you know how to do your interior paint on your own...then dont do it...because ive seen some bad jobs and ive seen great jobs...its all up to you....
