2004 Mazda3 W/ Xenon - Strong At First But Fades To White...

I just recently bought a 2004 Mazda 3... the fact that it can be equipped with Xenon and has standard 17" plus 160hp got me to fall in love...

But...
I don't know if this is the same for every car equipped with Xenon

but when I turn my headlights on... its VERY BLUE... but then it fades to WHITE ...

How can I get more BLUE out of it?

Can I change the bulbs? Something under the hood I need to change or alter?

This is a site designed for Civics, you might get a better answer if you find one designed for the Mazda 3, granted the model is new, there might not be much right now.

To help you, the best suggestion I can think of is to talk to the dealer that sold you your car.

umm every car with H.I.D does the same thing. the bulbs need to warm up to operating temperature. so they start off very bluish then goto white.

it's normal. i assume it's 4100k? you don't want it any bluer or else the road will be dim, not to mention it looks cheap like aftermarket kits.

Good choice in getting the 3. I thought about trading my civic for a 3 but I'd rather wait another year or so. I like the look of the sedan more but the hatch is not too bad...kinda grows on ya.
