Shifter Mechanism Junk??
I was really worried that I had something seriously wrong with my transmision. I thought I might even have to replace the damn thing. All the top gears, third in particular, were difficult to get into. I went down to Honda and low and behold, the problem was only that there was junk in the shifter mechanism. It was like $63 to clean the thing out. Weird problem.
