Has anyone?

Has anyone had to replace their ecu yet? So how my ecu got burned out. Where the o2 sesnor heat wire has been burn up. so my check eng light is on. I just had a ramdom tech cat put on. I went and got a ecu from a junk yard. and you just can plug and play. (god i should have bought an older civic) Since we have the inmobilerlizer chip in it hat has to be reporgarm to the engin. and honda want do it b/c i didn't buy it from them for 546 dollors. so if anybody knows anyone please let me know.

They should be able to program it for you. Try and take it to another dealership. They would have to program a new ECU anyway.

They should program the ECU regardless if you got it from there or not, its not like they are doing it for free or something, all you need to do is verify that its for your car and should be good to go.
If your dealership is going to be like that then I wouldnt try an engine swap there anytime soon, cause they would need to reprogram the ECU for that.

Just take it to another dealership if you have to, i guess they dont want you money there.

I know. I guess i just need to take it up there to them. And go from there!
