Shop for exhaust installation

does anyone here have a shop/know of a shop that can do a good job for a good price on the following?

take off a full bolton catback from a 7thgen which had the peices welded together to avoid the use of clamps. cut the peices back to how they came, and install the stock exhaust back on.

anyone know a place/have a place where you can do this? the peices need to be cut because they were welded and it cant be taken off as one peice because the sway bars are in the way underneath and to take those off wouldnt be wise.

basically im buying it off this guy and we are looking for a reasonably priced place to do the work. plz respond asap if you have anything that will be of any help

thanks in advance.

a job like that would cost you about $100. that's what i paid to get my magnaflow catback installed.

I havent gone to my car yet, but Im guessing you must be in a rush, so I did a quick search on the net,

GT Discount Mufflers & Custom Exhaust

905-619-3510

1051 Brock Road,
Pickering, ON
L1W 3T7

Just call and ask first, ask for the guy who drives the custom integra, its his shop. And explain your situation and ask him what he might charge. Good luck

the guys at the place took off my stock exhaust, put on the new one and welded the whole thing together instead of using clips. maybe that's what cost the extra $20?

well i don't care, if anything i lost $20 or $30, no big deal, and the place is 5 minutes from my house so i didn't have to drive very far to get there either.

the magnaflow on my car came with a built in silencer and it kills the sound pretty good. it's much louder than the stock exhaust with a nice aggressive sound, not overly aggressive if you know what i mean. as far as "loudness" goes it's still nothing when compared to some of the other exhausts i've heard around my area. if the silencer were removed i'd imagine it would be very, very, loud, probably making it illegal.

iamfob- ill check that place out on west beaver creek, thats right beside my house, thanks man

testdrive- well its a bit of labor so i dunno maybe theres more to it than it sound,s maybe business is bad in the winter lol anyways thanks for your help

Jason_wu- thanks for the feedback. do you know if all magnaflows for our cars come with thge silencer built in? i know its coming with a resonator but i dunno abt a silencer in the end of it. do you know if i can buy a silencer if it dont come with it? cuz the guy im getting it from said it comes with no silencer but does come with a resonator so if i start ripping it, it will be loud but casual driving shouldnt be too loud.

thanks to everyone to has offered advice. if anyone has any more places, LMK plz!
